Cancellation Policy

Retainer / Reservation Fee: To reserve the event date, the Client shall pay a non-refundable retainer fee of $100. This retainer secures the date and time of the event and is credited toward the total fee. Once the retainer is paid, the DJ’s services for that date are considered booked and the date is removed from availability. Balance & Final Payment: The remaining balance of the agreed-upon fee (Total Fee minus the $100 retainer) must be paid by 7 days prior to the event date. If full payment is not received by this deadline, the DJ reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the retainer fee. Cancellation by Client: If the Client cancels the event for any reason, the $100 retainer is forfeited and is non-refundable. The Client may request date changes (if the DJ is available) but the retainer still remains non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing. Cancellation by DJ: In the unlikely event the DJ must cancel, the Client will receive a full refund of all payments made (including the retainer) or the Client may agree to reschedule to another mutually acceptable date with no additional retainer required. Date Change / Rescheduling: If the Client requests to change the date/time of the event, the DJ will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the change provided the DJ is available. The retainer remains non-refundable, and any new date change must be confirmed in writing. If the DJ is unavailable for the new date, the retainer is forfeited and the Client may choose to apply it to a future event subject to availability. Additional Terms: The retainer is not a deposit for damages or guarantees other than reserving the date. The retainer will be applied toward the performance fee. All payments can be made via cash, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Square, Stripe or Zelle (checks are only accepted from businesses). This policy is part of the contract between the DJ and the Client and no performance is guaranteed until this retainer is received and the signed contract is returned.
